Campuses fall victim to declining enrollment, budget shortfall

From MLive.com: Five elementary schools in the Midland (Mich.) school district have closed for good. Chippewassee, Cook, Longview, Mills and Parkdale elementary schools are closing at the end of the school year as a result of budget issues and declining student enrollment in the school district. Come fall, the 1,110 students that attended classes at the schools will move into the district’s remaining seven elementaries.
