$114 million proposal would have paid for rebuilding 3 schools

From The Elgin Courier-News: Voters in St. Charles (Ill.) District 303 narrowly defeated a $114 million construction bond proposal to rebuild two middle and one elementary schools, and to renovate a third middle school. The construction bond referendum question failed by 5,261 yes to 5,872 no votes, or 47 percent to 53 percent. The money would have been used to rebuild Thompson and Haines middle Schools, renovate Wredling Middle School, and rebuild Davis Elementary School.

The money would enable the district to rebuild Thompson and Haines middle Schools, renovate Wredling Middle School, and rebuild Davis Elementary School.
