Early childhood center opens in Kansas City, Kan.
From The Kansas City Star: The Kansas City (Kan.) district has opened a $9 million Early Childhood Education Center. The school is the first new facility to open within the Kansas City, Kan., district in a decade. The previous site for the preschool was inside a shuttered mall department store that is set to be torn down. The school is designed to teach as many as 200 children in the morning and 200 in the afternoon.
