Elementary school in Aurora, Ill., closes after more than 100 years

Lincoln Elementary falls victim to financial woes

From The Aurora Beacon-News: After more than 100 years, Lincoln Elementary School in Aurora, Ill., has closed its doors forever. The West Aurora School Board voted in April to close the school because of financial concerns. Lincoln's students will be split between several West Aurora schools next year.
