News release:Arizona State University has settled a lawsuit brought by advocacy groups for the blind over the university's participation in a program using the Kindle DX electronic reader. As part of the agreement, Arizona State has agreed that if it deploys e-book readers in future classes over the next two years, it will strive to use devices that are accessible to the blind. The National Federation of the Blind and the American Council of the Blind had sued the university because the Kindle DX was not accessible to students with visual impairments.
