$90 million bond defeated in Beavercreek, Ohio

Money would have paid for new elementary and middle schools

Voters in the Beavercreek (Ohio) district have rejected a $90 million bond proposal. The money would have enabled the district to renovate all existing school buildings and add gymnasiums to every elementary school; enlarge Beavercreek High School by connecting it with Ferguson Middle School; build a new middle school to replace Ferguson; build a new elementary school; and centralize preschool in a new building near the existing central office.
