University of Missouri will expand football stadium, build residence hall

Stadium expansion plans coincide with school's move to Southeastern Conference

From The St. Louis Post-Dispatch: The University of Missouri has agreed to spend more than $100 million to finance upgrades to its football stadium in Columbia and other facilities. It also has agreed to add a few residence hall rooms for the thousands of students who do not have the opportunity to live on the Columbia campus past their freshman year, and to lets students at the University of Missouri-St. Louis pay for a rec center.

ALSO....from The Columbia Tribune:: Construction of a five-story residential hall on the University of Missouri campus in Columbia is expected to start next summer. 
The Board of Curators has okayed the project, which will have a 330-bed capacity. Freshmen are required to live on campus, and the number of upperclassmen wanting to live in campus housing is increasing, officials say. The building is expected to be completed in April 2015.
