The fifth high school in the Klein (Texas) Independent School District will be a 550,000-square-foot building that is expected to be open in 2011. The facility will be organized around a central spine — a main hallway — called a "learning stream." On the north side of that core area is the library. It will have six learning communities equally distributed to the east and west of the general administration area. On each side, one community will be on the first floor and two on the second floor. The gymnasiums, athletic areas, pool and dance room will be on the back side of the building's west wing. The auditorium, cafeteria, choir hall, band hall, orchestra rehearsal area, theater rooms and career and technology classrooms will be on the back side of the east wing. The architect is PBK Architects.
