Voters back Norman (Okla.) district bond

New primary school is part of $42 million proposal

The Norman (Okla.) district has won approval of a $42.1 million bond issue that will pay for a primary school and classroom additions at several schools. A second proposal for $865,000 will pay for buses, student activity vans and digital bus camera systems. The bond election was the largest in the district’s history. The primary school for grades preK-2 will ease crowding at Truman Elementary School.
