Cash flow problems, a contentious school board and a slow start in creating this year's budget are some of the concerns cited in a report by the financial conservator sent to work with the Lancaster (Texas) school district. The report also notes that the district has resolved several problems identified in June by state auditors who spent nine months investigating Lancaster's finances.
