New school complex planned in Thorndike, Maine

School will serve more than 1,000 students pre-kindergarten through grade 12.

School Administrative District 3 in Maine is building a $40 million school facility in Thorndike. The complex is slated to open in the fall of 2009 and will serve more than 1,000 students pre-kindergarten through grade 12. It will have separate wings for an elementary, a middle and a high school. The architect is Oak Point Associates.
