Denver board to consider creating 11 new schools

10 of the new campuses would be charter schools

From The Denver Post: The Denver district is recommending that the school board approve 11 new schools, including 10 charters. The schools would serve 6,450 students from preschool through high school and be situated throughout the district. Twenty-one schools were originally proposed. Six withdrew, and the district is recommending denial of four proposals. The board votes on the recommendations June 18.
