District's emergency manager is moving district staff out of office space in 4 buildings

From The Detroit Free Press: A group of landlords is suing Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder, state Treasurer Andy Dillon and Detroit Public Schools Emergency Manager Roy Roberts over lease agreements Roberts terminated on behalf of the school district. Last month, district administrators announced they would leave expensive leased office space across four buildings and move into district-owned buildings. District officials say the move will save the district $1.8 million in rent.
