Fast-growing Colorado district seeks funds to build 10 elementary schools

Douglas County puts $395 million request on ballot

The Douglas County (Colo.) School Board has agreed to ask voters in November to approve a $395 million bond package for new schools. The bond would pay for 10 new elementary schools and the expansion of one high school, as well as renovations to existing buildings.
