New high school planned in Quitman County, Ga.

New facility is to be built on the same campus as existing elementary school
The Quitman County (Ga.) has submitted plans to the state for a new high school in Georgetown. The 16,000 square-foot building will be on the same campus as New Quitman Elementary School. The high school will have seven classrooms and a vocational and science lab plus a 650-seat gymnasium and fine arts building. The high school will have a connecting canopy to the New Quitman Elementary cafeteria, which the high school and elementary school will share.
