The Quitman County (Ga.) has submitted plans to the state for a new high school in Georgetown. The 16,000 square-foot building will be on the same campus as New Quitman Elementary School. The high school will have seven classrooms and a vocational and science lab plus a 650-seat gymnasium and fine arts building. The high school will have a connecting canopy to the New Quitman Elementary cafeteria, which the high school and elementary school will share.
