Monroe City school chief Kathleen Harris says board violated open meetings law when it suspended her

From The Monroe Star-News: Monroe City (La.) School Superintendent Kathleen Harris, who has been suspended by her school board, contends in a lawsuit that board members violated the state's open meeting laws when they met to suspend her. The board voted last week to suspend the superintendent while the district conducts an investigation into the operations of the district during her tenure as superintendent. Harris says the board's language on an amended agenda didn't sufficiently inform the public that the board was to consider suspending Harris.
