Chicago school wins recycling contest

St. Cornelius Catholic School collected 885,000 containers for recycling

From NBCChicago.com: After months of counting, sorting, and collecting beverage containers, St. Cornelius Catholic School in Chicago has won a $50,000 grand prize for green improvements. The school is the winner of PepsiCo's "Dream Machine School Makeover," part of a program to raise environmental awareness for K-12 students. St. Cornelius beat out about 900 schools by collecting 885,000 beverage containers to be recycled.
