Secondary school under construction in Harper Woods, Mich.

Building will have two houses--one for high school, one for middle school.

Construction has begun in the Harper Woods (Mich.) district on a $29 million secondary school. The building will be divided into two houses--one for middle school and another for high school. Each house contains large classrooms surrounding a resource area with soft seating and computers stations. Each classroom will be equipped with computers, video screens and other technology. The two houses will be separated by a two-story common area. The architect is Wold Architects and Engineers.
