Three schools will close in Biloxi (Miss.) district

From The Biloxi Sun-Herald: The Biloxi (Miss.) School Board has voted to close three schools next year, despite pleas from parents, students and teachers. The district will close Michel Sixth Grade School and Beauvoir and Nichols elementaries because of declining enrollment and shrinking state and local funding.
