Jefferson County, Ala., ready to build new high school

Pleasant Grove High School is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2009
The Jefferson County (Ala.) school district is building a new high school in Pleasant Grove. The $43.5 million Pleasant Grove High School will be a two-story 250,000-square-foot building. In addition to classrooms and labs, it will have an auditorium, media center, practice gymnasium, competition gymnasium,band room and a family consumer science room.
