Cyberinfrastructure building will consolidate IT staff in one facility
News release: Indiana University-Bloomingtonhas broken ground on a $37 million, 123,000-square-foot Cyberinfrastructure Building (CIB). The facility will consolidate nearly all information technology staff on the campus into one facility. The building will include a commons space for conferences or symposia for up to 230 people; another 100 workstations will be configured along windows to provide space for IT commuters from other campuses. An additional 36 "focus booths" for staff or guests to conduct video interaction and small meetings also are planned.
