Online education changes in Arizona are vetoed

Governor rejects bill that would have made it easier for students to take online courses
May 15, 2012

From The Arizona Republic: Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer has vetoed a bill that would have brought about changes to the state's online-education system. The legislation would have made it easier for junior- and high-school students to take online courses. The bill also would have boosted accountability by creating a master list of approved courses and a state ranking and evaluation of each course.
