Non-profit Seattle Language Academy files for bankruptcy

School will remain open as it tries to address financial difficulties

From The Seattle Times: The Seattle Language Academy, a nonprofit institution that is one of the city's leading providers of foreign-language instruction has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in an effort to continue its classes.The academy will continue its classes this fall, but after that, its future is uncertain. The recession has severely affected the academy the past two years. Only about 150 students have signed up for classes, much lower than the normal amount.
