Gym renovations under way at Guam middle school

Upgrade space will be able to withstand a typhoon

FromThe Pacific Daily News: Seven months after the gymnasium at Untalan Middle School in Guam was closed because of safety concerns, renovations have begun. Most of the gym will be replaced so it will be strong enough to survive a typhoon, officials say. It will cost about $678,000 and should be done by July.
