Central Michigan University wants to start a medical school

From The Detroit News: Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant has applied to open a medical school, becoming the second Michigan school seeking such accreditation amid warnings of an impending shortage of U.S.-trained doctors. Central Michigan and Oakland University are seeking to join Michigan's three universities already operating medical schools, the University of Michigan, Wayne State University and Michigan State University.
