Texas districts schedule bond elections

Voters in Austin and Highland Park districts will go to the polls in May

Austin (Texas) school trustees have agreed to place a $343.7 million bond referendum in May that would pay for a districtwide performing arts center, renovations of science classrooms, technology upgrades and an early childhood center.
