Task force urges Arizona to ban corporal punishment in schools

From The Arizona Republic: Arizona should forbid corporal punishment in schools, a state education task force has recommended. Arizona is among 20 states that allow school districts to mete out corporal punishment, usually paddling, to control children. In Arizona, corporal punishment is permitted by the governing boards of at least 32 school districts, according to data kept by the Arizona School Boards Association
