Mississippi district puts bond issue on September ballot; $13.75 million proposal would enable Amite County to upgrade facilities.

Voters in the Amite County (Miss.) district will go to the polls on Sept. 25 to decide the fate of a $13.75 million school bond issue. The proposal calls for new gymnasium at Amite County High School; a new library, classrooms and cafeteria and kitchen at Gloster Elementary; and a new lower elementary physical education building at Liberty Elementary School.
