New high school building opens in Lower Merion (Pa.) district

Harriton High facility cost $100 million

From The Philadelphia Inquirer: After five years of planning and debate, the Lower Merion (Pa.) District has opened a new Harriton High School. Incoming freshman attended orientation on the 50-acre campus, and classes officially will start Sept. 8. The $100 million, 300,000-square-foot facility includes airy classrooms with projection capability and wireless Internet access for students' laptops.
