Western Illinois University to build facility in Moline

60,000-square-foot building will expand university's offerings in Quad Cities

From The Quad Cities Times: Western Illinois University plans to break ground later this year on a $62 million campus in Moline. The first building, a 60,000-square-foot structure, will house the College of Business and Technology. Funding is available to plan a second building on the campus. The project will enable the university to expand its presence in the Quad-Cities. Officials expect to enroll 3,000 students once the new building opens. Currently, the school serves 1,400 students at its Moline location.
