Building at Johnson & Wales University constructed to withstand flooding

Breakaway walls are part of design at university’s culinary center

From The Boston Globe: The Cuisinart Center for Culinary Excellence at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, R.I., has been built with breakaway walls that will give way and enable the the 82,000-square-foot facility to withstand floodwaters.
