Washington (Iowa) school bond is rejected

$12.1 million would have helped pay for new high school

Voters in the Washington (Iowa) school district have rejected a $12.1 million bond proposal. The funds would have helped the district pay for an $18.8 million high school that would be attached to the existing junior high facility.
