Two Illinois districts OK bond proposals

Money will pay for new facilities in Batavia and Geneva districts.

In Illinois, the Batavia and Geneva school districts have won approval of bond packages that will pay for new facilities. Voters in Batavia okayed a $75 million proposal--most of that will pay for a high school addition to relieve crowding. In Geneva, voters approved an $80 million request that will enable the district to build two elementary schools and upgrade other facilities.
