From The Naperville Sun: Officials with Indian Prairie (Ill.) School District 204 say improprieties involving two bus drivers won't affect the district's relationship with First Student bus company. Each incident occurred May 7. In the first, a bus driver was fired after he ordered a 13-year-old girl off his bus and left her stranded in an unfamiliar neighborhood because she did not have the proper written permission to ride. Later that day, a 72-year-old bus driver was fired after allegedly exposing himself to a fifth-grade girl.
EARLIER...from The Naperville Sun: A bus company serving Scullen Middle School in Naperville, Ill., has dismissed a driver who forced a 13-year-old girl off the bus three miles from school because she didn't have the proper note for riding the bus. The student has a note from her mother, but not one from school officials. The support services director for Indian Prairie School District 204 says the driver was removed immediately from all District 204 routes, and the bus company, First Student, has dismissed the driver.
