From The Daily Oklahoman: Emerson Alternative High School is one of the last buildings to be remodeled as part of a $700 million upgrade of facilities in the Oklahoma City district. Advocates hoped that renovation plan would include a new health clinic to replace the one that closed two years ago. But the $4.4 million renovation won't include a new clinic. Built in 1894, Emerson is the only school in the district dating from the 1800s that is still in use.
