Fraternity suspended at Illinois Wesleyan University after student death

Freshman from New York was found dead after Sigma Pi fraternity event

From The Bloomington Pantagraph:The Sigma Pi fraternity at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington has been placed on interim suspension while the school investigates events surrounding the death of a student attending the fraternity’s annual formal last month. Brandon Landau, a freshman from New York, was last seen about 2 a.m. March 4 at the fraternity event. He was found about nine hours later, unresponsive and face-down in a creek. Preliminary autopsy results indicated Landau had alcohol and marijuana in his system when he died.
