Episcopal School of Acadiana needs more space for younger students

The Episcopal School of Acadiana (ESA) has broken ground on a $9 million home for its Lower School in Lafayette, La. The new site, along the Vermilion River, offers room to grow. The enrollment is now at 176 students. The new campus includes an existing 22,000-square-foot building. That structure will be renovated in the second phase of construction. The first phase includes construction of a classroom building divided by a courtyard. The Lower School includes students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. ESA’s Middle and Upper Schools are on a 75-acre, oak-canopied campus in Cade.
