No enrollment freeze at Florida community colleges

Schools say they will reach out to students affected by enrollment caps at state universities.

The presidents of Florida's 28 community colleges have pledged not to cap enrollment as a way to deal with possible state-mandated budget cuts. The presidents say their schools will try to recruit students who are shut out of state universities because of an enrollment freeze scheduled to take effect in fall 2008.
