From The Detroit News: The emergency financial manager running the Detroit Public Schools has imposed a contract on the district's teachers. Roy Roberts is empowered by Michigan's emergency manager law to impose work terms on employees. Details of the contract weren't immediately released. After the contract was imposed. Detroit Federation Teachers President Keith Johnson said there's no guarantee that school will start on time later this summer.
