Study says University of Minnesota's economic impact on state is $8.6 billion

Impact translates to $13.20 for every dollar of state funding

From The Minneapolis Star-Tribune: A report says that the University of Minnesota's direct and indirect economic effect on the state in 2010 was $8.6 billion. The institution's impact translated to nearly 80,000 jobs and a return of $13.20 for every dollar of state funding.
