High school building will become condos in Aurora, Ill.

Developer will convert former Aurora Christian facility

The Aurora (Ill.) City Council has approved a plan that would turn the former Aurora Christian High School building into condos and town homes. A developer has bought the 2.8-acre high school campus with the intention of turning the original building--built as the old West Aurora High School in 1906 -- into condos. Aurora Christian moved to a new campus in 2004.
