High school facility overhaul in Beverly, Mass.

$68 million project will renovate and expand campus
The city of Beverly, Mass., is preparing to begin a $68 million renovation and construction project at Beverly High School. The plans call for renovations to the field house, cafeteria and auditorium in the existing building; the addition of a four-story academic wing; a new, 1,000-seat stadium with lights; and possibly two artificial turf fields, depending on the cost and how much state funding is available.
