Paving company owner allegedly paid school official to win contracts

The owner of a Cleveland-based paving company has been charged with bribing a Maple Heights (Ohio) City Schools official. Joseph Bibbo is accused of giving $10,000 in 2005 to Christopher Krause, who was treasurer of Maple Heights City Schools, in exchange for the awarding of $221,900 in contracts. Krause, who resigned as treasurer last year, has been charged with several corruption-related crimes.
