Citing fatigue, separation from her family and a lack of community support, Recovery School District Superintendent Robin Jarvis says she may resign soon. Officials are concerned that her departure could further cripple the struggling system. The recovery district is responsible for most of the public schools in New Orleans, but many of them have been closed since Hurricane Katrina struck the area in 2005.
