NAACP and LULAC say curriculum changes approved by Texas discriminate against minorities

From The Dallas Morning News: The two leading civil-rights groups for African-Americans and Hispanics are asking the federal government to step in and force anti-discriminatory initiatives in Texas public education. The League of United Latin American Citizens and the NAACP say that curriculum changes made this spring by the State Board of Education would have a stigmatizing effect on African-American and Latino students.
