The mother of a student at an alternative school in Ansonia, Conn., says she plans to sue the school district after school employees allegedly performed a strip search on her 15-year-old son. The incident allegedly happened at Pine Academy, the Ansonia school district’s alternative education program. School employees accused the teen of stealing $70 from a teacher. The family's attorney contends that that the school’s principal ordered a strip search, which was allegedly conducted in a restroom by two male teachers.To read The New Haven Register article, click here.
