Union (Okla.) district wins approval of $21.6 million bond issue

District will add wing to academy, build 9th-grade center

From The Tulsa World: Voters in the Union School District in Tulsa, Okla., have approved a $21.6 million bond issue. The money will enable the district to add a wing to the Union Collegiate Academy. The addition will enable 10th-graders to enroll concurrently in high school and Tulsa Community College or Tulsa Technology Center. The remainder of bond funds will be used to build a Ninth Grade Center, buy textbooks and make other capital improvements
