Two Lutheran schools in St. Louis will close

Feb. 10, 2011
City will be left with 3 Lutheran schools

From The St. Louis Post-Dispatch: Two Lutheran schools in the southern part of St. Louis will close their doors this spring because of declining enrollment, competition with charter schools and financial strains on congregations. The two schools — King of Glory and Hope Lutheran — have roots going back several generations. Their closures will reduce the number of Lutheran schools in the city to three.
