From The Detroit Free Press: Thousands of Detroit Federation of Teachers members are complaining about a tentative contract with the district that calls for radical changes, including deferring $10,000 from their pay over the next two years.

ALSO...from The Detroit News: Teacher union leaders warned of dire consequences if the deal is defeated. They say more than 1,500 teachers would lose their jobs and pay would be slashed further if the agreement is not ratified.
