Rhode Island college wants to build another residence hall

New facility would be in addition to new housing that opened last year

Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I., is seeking to build a residence hall to accommodate its expanding student population. School officials say 86 percent of Bryant’s 3,368 undergraduate students live on campus. The school currently has beds for 2,773. The university's latest residence hall opened last September.
